It's like magazines always decide to cram as much diversity into a single month so they can go back to business as usual the other 11 months of the year.

It does sound like they're cramming all their 'fashion minorities' into the same month - but I'm also willing to give the new editor the benefit of the doubt. Yes, they're probably trying to see which alternative sells the most, but given how many magazines are dying on the newsstand, maybe this is a necessary evil.

I'm currently filling in the form to subscribe to UK Vogue, and when it asked me what issue I wanted to start with, the on-sale date for the December issue is listed as 10th November.

^ Thanks for the info, wow! I guess another thing Edward is changing, his issues will be released later, shame. I kinda loved how UK Vogue would come out at the start of each month, unlike so many other editions.

I'm signing up for Vanity Fair for TWO years - a risky proposition, as any new editor could run the mag into the ground, but still, it works out at around £1.20 per issue - but I notice they're continuing with their slightly confusing 'special issue' thing.

If the details on the subscription page are to be believed, the December issue is out on 3rd November, then 'Holiday' out on 21st November, followed by Feb on 6th Jan, Hollywood on 3rd Feb, March out on 3rd March (!) and April out on 31st March.

So that's two times when two issues wiIl appear in the same month, with March appearing IN March. Well, if it works for Vogue Italia...

Taylor Swift is shooting or is due to shoot a cover whilst she’s here in the UK this week. She’s not covered British Elle, so I wonder if she’ll land on there. The album is out next month however so I guess it’s going to be an issue in the new year to coincide with something else?

Just checked it out, yours must be a special resubscription offer. The one on their site is a six issue deal for £9.00. It's really exceptionally low! And it includes the Apple editions. Will definitely try it out, and it's only for six issues anyway. Will not be subscribing to Vogue though, definitely not with what's in store.....

Seriously, if Naomi Campbell doesn't have the December cover of British Vogue... I think you'll be able to knock me over with a feather.

Edward HAS to make a bold and impactful statement with his first issue, and I've hyped myself up that much - I'm expecting something spectacular. I'm just starting to hope that I won't be disappointed with whatever he does. Must admit that I've never been Enninful's biggest champion over the years but this is the revival of one of the BIG fours and in the words of Anna Wintour: "Where's the glamour? This is Vogue, please, let's lift it."

Agree! All eyes are on Edward and the December issue. The expectations are HIGH...and I'm expecting nothing less than extraordinary.
