In the last video posted by Madonna for Vogue Italia, she is in the standard Dolce & Gabbana-like black corset, stacked gold necklaces and a headscarf. So yeah, you pretty much know what you're getting because we've seen it a thousand times already.
I do think they will portrait a lot of Portuguese Culture. Since I saw one post where she will wear some pieces of it on set - like Barcelos Roaster, plates and other things from Vista Alegre...
D&G has very italian/meditarrean style. A lot of pieces you would see in D&G could easily seen being use in other countries of south of europe as part of their culture.
Also curvy body is very common on this region of Europe, although, Portuguese tend to be shorter and have larger hips. (One of things got really popular with brand were tile drawings. Most of our builds have those tiles, only in blue and white. Suzy Menkes even invite the speaks of CNI Luxury to Palace in Lisbon where you have those, Louboutin has house with those tiles here.)
On that video i think they were inspired by "Nazaré" woman who lost they man at sea. Those women wear black for rest of their lifes, with a scarf, and gold jewellery. The most of common use of that type of dressing is in regions where there are a strong fishing activity. In Portugal, most of coast is like that, but more on tradicional and historical regions as Nazaré, Peniche, Algarve...
Also she probably will be using horses on the shoot, since she loves Lusitan Horses, as well her sons. (I am always seeing with them) And we have a big tradition on equestrianism.
Although all of this might sound repetitive to you, it's because Europe South has a lot of similarities as well you see in East Asia and other regions of the globe, where countries are near one another and each country history getting mix with one another.
But If I can put my personal opinion on it - I will mostly likely see diferent aspects of it with this shoot, from what I have been seeing. It will show more of our Portuguese Culture and those differences.
