Supposedly Meisel was supposed to shoot The Met Gala's “China: Through the Looking Glass.” for Vogue Italia, but he ended up shooting Fei Fei for American Vogue as an exclusive. Apparently it caused some bad blood between Franca and Meisel.

Well I think it's absolutely preposterous. We've just had the Brazilian GOAT on the cover, and Adriana Lima doesn't really have a relationship with US Vogue. It'll be a 2 shot feature at best, as it ought to be.

^I think it refers to Conde Nast’s policy against shooting minors due to the sexual misconduct prevalent in the industry. Considering that the policy applies to all editions, and how VI disobeyed such policy (unless they shot the cover prior to the policy, which I think, is reaching).

Yeah I actually thought Kaia was initially planned to be on the cover of the March issue. That’s because the Hadids only had like 2 pages in their ed, which I think they were shot in the last minute to replace Kaia due to the new CN policy.
