It got back not that long ago. I notice cuz one of portuguese photographers has been working with it since came back - his name is Elio Nogueira. He did a cover with Alessandra not that long ago.

If Meryl gets a cover I imagine it would be to promote Big Little Lies, but the premiere date is June so shooting the cover now would be too late. Unless she has already shot a cover and they had a follow-up lunch.

Meryl is starring in several upcoming movies. The most likely candidate for cover stories seems to be Little Women, which is scheduled for release on Christmas Day. She will be playing Aunt March with co-stars Florence Pugh, Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan, and Laura Dern. I could see any of those ladies getting a cover around that time.
