I agree, it better be SHOCKING! I think the only cover that would make me gag with shock would be Prince Harry and Meghan. Nicki Minaj with Cardi or Lil Kim. Edward with Anna Wintour

If this Octover UK Vogue cover is Meghan and/or Harry, It will be interesting how they manage it. Would they delay its release?

Given the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, I think it would be extremely distasteful to have Meghan Markle on the cover of British Vogue and I certainly will not be impressed. I also very much doubt Markle’s appearance would go down well with the British public and the British press. Now is not the time.

And it wouldn't surprise me if negotiations were afoot to attempt to get the new Prince and Princess of Wales to appear on an American cover of some sort ahead of their Earthshot tour in the US in Nov/Dec.

I may just be in my feelings due to the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, but I have zero desire to see Meghan Markle or Prince Harry on the cover of ANY British fashion publication - no matter the month of the year or the occasion.

The Markle guest-edited September 2019 issue of British Vogue was enough.

I agree. Plus, Taylor Swift isnt “shock” worthy to me. Whether it’s her announcing engagement or married, that not shocking.

It sickens me to think that Meghan Markle may well appear on the cover because she's really the only one that would match Edward's teaser (if I'm going by your post!). It's just so tone deaf regardless of the Queen's passing because quite frankly whatever love affair she had with the British public is over. But I suppose Edward is taking notes from the Anna Wintour playbook of putting anyone on the cover to get the tongues wagging.

Taylor Smith is probably as popular in the UK as she is in America, but I can't imagine what she or Rihanna would possibly have to share that would shock the world.

I have however heard that the cover was shot by Meisel...

She’s had like 7 consecutive number one albums. So, yup. Pretty popular.

No matter her popularity in the UK, Taylor would be an American-leaning cover at a time when so much is happening at home - for a British magazine not to capitalise on Britain being in the news at the moment, they would be left trailing, looking irrelevant.
