Apparently, Sofia Coppola will be british Vogue September cover according to fashion twitter. “Age of Change” is the theme of this year’s september issue.
The cover is a black and white profile photo of her with white masthead and looks very Meisel’s style.

It was too good to be true, sadly. Though I’m hoping she does get a major cover to promote Priscilla. In the absence of actresses promoting their films, perhaps that leaves more room for a director to nab a cover - especially one with Sofia’s pedigree.

weirdly Taylor Swift didn’t get any promotion Vogue covers wise for her Eras tour so I wouldn’t discard a September Vogue cover because it would sell. I personally have zero interest on this cover.

actresses wise, only Gal Gadot and Zendaya have something coming out soon and one of the Fanning sisters, Blunt got HB for ‘Oppenheimer’.
there’s that new series with Kidman but considering she’s not the protagonist I’d scrap her out.

I’d love all September covers to have models on the cover and I’m still manifesting that Vittoria’s and Pavarotti encounter to be the result of one.

Emma Stone's Poor Things will be released in December and Natalie Portman's May December in November. Also Lily Gladstone has Killers of the Flower Moon coming out in October. Having her on the cover would be amazing.

weirdly it’s Twitter that keeps me updated with this celebrities gossip.
I think there’s always so much more behind a breakup and surely it takes 2 to tango…
I think she’s sort of untouchable when it comes this dramas - alongside Taylor Swift her fanbase seems to be ruthless.

opinions aside, it does seem too early for heavy promotion but I’m sure she will get a Vogue cover for it when the time is right.

What's the worldwide theme for this year's September issues? Is it just Vogue World or will they have another specific theme to follow like 2021's dawn/sunrise?

I only know the cover stars of two Asian editions. Both are established models that were featured on their covers before.

My sources won’t tell me who ELLE US is yet for September only that it’s shot by Steven Klein.

I read on another Twitter account that Mariacarla Boscono is the Vogue Korea september’s cover

Taylor announced. It’s October 27th. I imagine if she was going to get a cover for anything, it’d be the October issues instead, but that being said, has had no covers for the re-records before.

I could be wrong, but who knows. Maybe we’ll have another Adele style multi region cover for September.

The supermodels make the most sense to me. But the Karl US Vogue group cover makes me question if it would only be a UK cover thing.

It would make sense that it’s Taylor because she is playing in London 16th & 17th August, that would boost sales and more local publicity for her too.
