ah really? i never posted because i thought it was old news, but i've read that the calendar was photographed by Mario Sorrenti at the Lido in Paris, with Natasha Poly, Iselin Steiro and Raquel Zimmermann.

can't remember exactly where i read it though.

^OH MY GOD! Iselin!!! this is so great. plus there's Natasha and Raquel (though i'm not a fan of her). i feel like this would be a great shoot. but wait, is the calendar shoot you're talking about the one that is like the supplement of Vogue Paris Dec/Jan issue?

^The way she has been looking lately, I hope not. But Photoshop can make wonders these days, I guess.
I'm surprised that we haven't seen the December issue of UK Elle yet. We've seen UK Vogue & Bazaar before Elle, which is unusual.

I'm not sure when we'll see UK Elle. I doubt the subscriber's copies have been posted out yet, otherwise some people (where the strikes aren't taking places) would have got them I would have thought. And if they do post them out tomorrow, the postal service are striking on Thursday and Friday again.

Maybe we'll see it on one of the ELLE e-mails or in the press before we see the actual issue. The only hint at the cover star was something like Candy posting on her twitter that she was going to "rock" the cover... right?

^Most likely, seeing as most of the past guest-editors have been on the cover, except John Galliano. I have a feeling that Laetitia wouldn't elect someone besides herself to be on the cover, though !

I'm so excited for VP's Dec/Jan 09.10! I'm sure it would be fantastic considering that it's their 90th anniversary special. Laetitia Casta would be a great choice IMO. I loved her cover and edit last year. I would love to see Karl Lagerfeld to guest edit though.

I'm also excited for US Vogue. Woner who would it be.

A COVER WITH BITE: Word has it Harper’s Bazaar will be targeting a younger audience with its December cover, which is expected to feature “Twilight” stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Sources told WWD the cover was shot by Mark Seliger. A Harper’s Bazaar spokeswoman said the magazine does not discuss upcoming editorial.
