Trikekos, I was thinking the same thing!!!!! That would be AY-MAY-ZZZING! Carine's last Black issue (w/ Liya Kebede in 2002) is one of my favorite issues of Vogue Paris, so another one would be fantastic! And the Arlenis rumor would definitely tie in, as well as the picture on the Imagist!!!! I am SUPER excited now! And if anyone should cover a Black issue of VP, it should be Rose! Unless she is paired with one or two more models (Sessilee and Noemie Lenoir PRETTY PLEASE !). The thought makes me salivate!

Rose is better than Dree, but I don't imagine it is an issue dedicated to her and if Vogue Paris is doing another All Black issue it would be very weird if you ask me. Why not use the black models in "normal" issues.

I agree with what you are saying, but the last time Vogue Paris did a Black issue it was more of a black/African CULTURE issue, not a black MODEL issue. They had black as well as white models, which I thought worked out so fantastically! I remember one edit called "Possession" that was very African primitivistic/voodoo and it heavily featured white models, including Filippa Hamilton. Who knows what we will see for March. Just because Rose is (supposedly) on the cover, doesn't mean at all that the issue will be black-themed. But other information (Arlenis's "top secret" shoot in Paris a bit ago and the leaked picture on the Imagist) suggest that it may be. We shall see !

'All Black Issues' are just plain dumb to me. It's like two steps forward and one giant leap backwards.

Surely the way to promote equality is to have them be in normal issues just like any other model, and not instead have an issue that excludes all white models?

Awesome! Thanks for the news debora25! Now I am convinced the March issue will be a "Black Issue." While there has already been one major "Black Issue" in the past couple of years (at Vogue Italia), I'm sure Carine will tackle this topic/theme so very creatively, as she usually does, and that her take will be completely different.

I can't WAIT to see the cover! Maybe it will be multiple girls? There hasn't been a duo/trio/quartet cover of Vogue Paris in a LONG time!
