Thanks for the tid-bit MMA ! I was just thinking earlier, "what if there are multiple covers!?!?!" But now you have lulled my speculation !

Well, if it only one girl, then I am going with Rose. She seems to be the front-runner. And the other rumors suggest that it will be a balck-themed issue.

Still, Carine never fails to surprise us. And, after seeing Lindsey Wixson that was adopted by Mert and Marcus for the March W, she definitely has a chance at a VP cover. She really does excellent editorial work. And I could totally see her in the magazine.

There are just so many possibilities! My anticipations are through the rooooof!

trikekos, I actually went to the Imagist and some of the comments say that Rose got the cover of American Vogue shot by Meisel! True or false, I'm uncertain about that.

! That is the most random and probably untrue rumour I have heard all year!

Next we'll hear that Valerija Kelava has been shot for the cover of Harper's Bazaar !

^Ymre does fit, but she has been totally M.I.A. The last--and first-- time she was in VP was April 2009. I highly doubt Carine would randomly put her on the cover almost a year later, especially if she hasn't been featured in any editorials for the magazine recently.

I'm just so surprised that the cover hasn't leaked yet...the press release came out over a week ago, along with the cover information so i'm baffled as to why it's taken so long for it to surface?

I get it when the cover star is a mystery, and they don't want it to leak too soon, but they've already confirmed it's Marion Cotillard?
I'm getting so impatient, argh!

When did Rose skip a season though? Isn't this only her 3rd season?
I would hope it would be someone like Sigrid. NY Models isn't huge, she skipped a season, she's been in VP before, but she has not had any huge huge major campaigns or covers that I can think of. (Other than that 1 Prada campaign).

^They may. But I think every other magazine will be clamoring to do a tribute issue to him, so I have no idea what Carine will do. I'm sure he'll at least get a lengthy feature. McQueen was one of Carine's favorite designers, so maybe she'll do something a little extra special. But she didn't dedicate a whole issue to YSL, so I'm not sure if she will for McQueen.

That's true. She fits most of the rumors/speculations as to whom it is, but Rose has been a big girl for Carine. I also saw a quote from a Dominican publication possibly confirming a cover?

Magazines can't possibly do proper McQueen tributes as his estate is being reclaimed, all Spring 2010 samples being taken back from media. I hope they find a way.

Sigrid had 6 major campaigns in one season, FW09.she's anything but an underachiever.
