I'll die if Lara gets US VOGUE April 2010! She's one of the models who's shape is adorable. But don't you think that she got a feature about her shape already, JAN 2010?

Can't even put a guess on a model choice of theirs. Obviously I want Kate Moss though.

While I would love to see Daria get the cover of US Vogue, it might not be her - or Natalia or Gisele - but someone else that's just outside our logic. We can think of people who would make sense, who have worked well on covers elsewhere, who might seem a commercial choice - but then again, Wintour might make a real point of promoting someone else so that the cover becomes more of an 'anointed choice' by the magazine of someone new.

I don't necessarily mean a new model - certainly not by tfs definition - but I could see them using someone that's a slightly different direction for the magazine; someone that's 'new' to US Vogue, as opposed to 'new' to the world.

I feel like if US Vogue is going to put a model on the cover solo...it'd have to be a model with a certain level of their own 'celebrity.' Like Kate Moss, Giselle Bundchen etc etc.
I think Lara may be a possibility given the buzz around her at the moment.
But sadly I think that it's still going to have to be someone that the general public are going to recognise in order to make sales.

I've been on a winning streak at guessing certain editorials/covers recently (well I thought that Agyness & Jamie would be two of the girls on Feb VI).

I knew that since there's no multi-model cover this year, they'd likely do a model cover for April. And Lara is perfect for a shape issue. I think the fact that she's had a feature on it in the January issue is no hinderance - how many times have we read about Natalia's childhood in the mag? I definitely don't see Ms. Evangelista covering a Shape Issue. And Christy was on last Aprils. Kate...hell no. It could be Gisele coming back from having her baby, as the cover was probably shot around January, when the April stuff is usually shot and when she was shooting an ad for something. Maybe it's Naomi...although there's nothing really newsworthy about her right now.

It's anyone's guess as usual . But I still have a strong feeling about Lara. They seem to like having Supers on the August Age Issue too, as it fits a bit more synonymously with the issue's overriding theme.

If it's not Giselle or Natalia, it's probably Karlie.

I do not see Anna putting Lara on the cover. Other than that, I could see Raquel or Daria. And of course you can never count out the supers, Kate, Linda, etc.

oh goodness no! the kloss on a us vogue would be a squinty-eyed doomsday. none of new crop of supermodels(Daria,Lara,Raquel etc) have the power to carry a cover so the supers must be the only reasonable option.

If the rumor is true that a model will be gracing the April 2010 cover of US Vogue, I think it has to be Daria as well. She suits the Shape Issue so well. Or if it's not her, Lara can be.

Ugh, at this point, I'd seriously rather have Karlie than Kate, etc. Though, I'd rather not have neither. Is Snejana an option? I wouldn't mind Daria though.

I would guess either Lara or Daria. The former makes sense because duh it's the shape issue and Lara is certainly having a moment of sorts, and the latter because Daria's work for Vogue has been extensive over the past 6 or so years and she definitely merits a solo cover.

I like her, she is cool but I do not need to see her everywhere.
Knowing VP, she will probably have 2 more covers in the year so I hope she doesn't get overexposed.

I wouldn't mind Karlie Now let grandpa ask a question here: is Karlie 18 yet? I can see her not getting the cover of a shape issue if she's still 17...Does that make sense?

If it's Lara, omg I'd die. She'd be the first model to get her first solo US Vogue cover since Natalia in July 07 and Liya in May 05. Major.

She will be 18 in August. I would much prefer seeing Karlie over Daria or Kate, but I would also love to see Lara.

Although personally I think it is more likely to be Lara who ends up on there, not only because she's more of an actual shape, for the shape issue, but also for the fact she's sort of crossed that line into actually becoming a celebrity. People outside of the fashion world are now starting to know her by name. To me that's something Anna would always have in mind.
