I wouldn't mind Karlie, it would the next step in how the magazine has nurtured her with constant exposure.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Trentini. We all no how much Anna loves her and I could totally see her pull off a bathing suit cover like the ones Carmen Kass use to get back in the day. But, I agree the front runner must be Daria. She fits so perfectly with Natalia and Liya as a Vogue Trifecta that a solo cover is long overdue. I wouldn't mind a KK cover and I would DIE if it were Gemma.

Natalia also has 3 kids and w/o turning it into a weight thread has a nice figure.
Also she has been making a noticable come back on runways and on the catwalk so she is a great contender.

I'm so deprived of model action on the cover of US Vogue that it's got to the stage where, as long as it's a decent shot, I don't care who it is. In a crazy universe, it might even be someone who isn't white.

No, seriously though, no news. It's scheduled to come out the 27th and we rarely ever know anything about VI before it comes out. The last two months were exception on that rule.

^ That's one thing I like about Vogue Italia, with the hints about Vogue US, Paris, UK and other covers I am always trying to rack my brain and guess who would possibly be on the cover, but with Vogue Italia I just sit back and let them "suprise" me.

I have a strong feeling it's Freja. She's having a real moment and Meisel used her for US Vogue, which means she's likely not just a phase for him. She was originally intended for the Feb. cover too.... Although she's everywhere I wouldn't put it past him to put Lara on the cover, especially since it's been a while since her last solo VI cover. But I think that's a little too predictable. I don't see Mirte or Patricia on the cover at this point, esp. solo.

I'd die if it were Joan Smalls...but I heard that a rumour about a girl who has been doing stellar at F/W just shot April with him, which I think is a better fit for her.

Also, what is the deal with Vogue Italia and their advertisers; can someone remind us? September is Prada, January is Gucci, February is Blumarine (?) and March?

Also, in unrelated Vogue Italia news; Kate Moss + Mario Testino shot something together a few days ago, so I'd expect something for British Vogue or Paris Vogue for June/July/August.
