I've just read that Condé Nast finally decided to launch the French edition of GQ at the beginning of 2008
But they also decided to change its title into QG...And I don't like that and I think you won't like it either...

That's weird, why would they change that?

Well it does look like a typo to me... The way it's written it looks like they're talking about Maryna, and I'm sure they meant August cover...

That said, it has been known for Vogue Italia to do a 'run' on covers with the same girl, especially when Meisel has a notion for her:

QG sounds queer? how? I guess they'll change it to QG cause it's shorter for Quartier Général in French, and since this relates to war they thought it'd be appropriate for a men's magazine or maybe just because it actually has a meaning in French whereas most guys probably wouldn't get the GQ - Gentlemen's Quarterly thing
