Vogue December: Kate Bosworth

I still have a hard time believing she'll get on the cover of Vogue as opposed to Teen Vogue. She's really not that famous, she doesn't have a movie out until Feb and she's no fashionista. I can't think the readers of Vogue will find Kate's musings on fashion all that enthralling unless the Vogue writers are going to churn them out for her.

^^I am just as confused,why her?I dont get it,but she has been getting heavy support from V lately so ya its probably true.

There is so many other women not to mention MODELS that would make for much better cover subject.

in the US noone cares about the for them unknown-models...only Gisele and maybe Natalia a bit are the only ones they like...

It's that terrible lull when you're waiting for the new magazines to come out for the next month... I wonder what model UK Vogue will give us for November. It can't surely be another actress, now that we've had Keira for October.

Yes i understand its how it works for US Vogue,but there are so many different women in public that would deserve a cover over Bosworth.

I met a lot of ppl who are quite into fashion world and when you catch them frank it is easy to understand that none of them likes what is happening with magazines with same faces, pale covers and similar editorials.

But what about actresses?! this is another problem. The type of models employed at catwalk does not really match with the requirements for a good model cover. At the other hand model-actresses do not manage it in a better way. Well we should ask Anna Wintour who seems to be the main trend maker. The actresses had at no time been placed on so many covers and this is a clear illustration of a big model crisis. I would even prefer to see actress covers in the times when there were couple of iconic faces but now they look more or less similar... even if we take a background for american vogues... colors, items... all looks similar.

Fortunately. American Vogue which at all times was a subject of tendences and very subjective ones, is not the only fashion edition but unfortunately most of them adapt to the same policy.

Saw the new UK Elle Nov 07 issue yesterday - Reese Witherspoon cover. It's practically the same as the US edition, which has arrived here at the same time - so you have two identical covers looking out at you from the shelves.

UK TV presenter Davina McCall is on the Nov 07 cover of Red magazine.

It's the exact same interview and editorial aswell
Which is a shame because there's also an interview with Marc Jacobs and Kings Of Leon in it. So, it would have been a very good issue.

Me too, actually I saw the mobile cap of the cover in it's thread. Not sure if this is her best cover yet but since her face is in the main focus and she looks so dream-like, I can't complain.

Not really a rumor, but b/c it's not a major magazine and I don't have pics yet, I figured I should put it here for anyone who's interested. Cintia Dicker is on the cover of A4 Magazine. I'm not sure which issue it is but it's the new one. Perhaps it's the September/October issue?
