Vogue December: Kate Bosworth

I still have a hard time believing she'll get on the cover of Vogue as opposed to Teen Vogue. She's really not that famous, she doesn't have a movie out until Feb and she's no fashionista. I can't think the readers of Vogue will find Kate's musings on fashion all that enthralling unless the Vogue writers are going to churn them out for her.

sienna got a vogue cover but also is not that famous and dresses even worse than bosworth. i'd prefer bosworth any time, at least that girl can act!

My thoughts on Sienna's dress sense aside, she was very widely known and got huge press for her supposed fashion IT girl status and as the girl that most women were copying. I don't recall reading about Bosworth attaining such a cult status or inspring such trends. Plus now Sienna has her own fashion line so she has another reason to be actually on the cover of a fashion magazine.

I'll have to disagree with you on that one.

If I recall right, the press blurb about Vogue covering Kate at the fashion shows stated that they'd be doing a story on her but that they hadn't decided if she was cover worry.

Found it, from Fashion Week Daily.

"Vogue is taking Kate Bosworth to the shows this season as part of a story and possible cover tie-in, according to sources".

Again in my experience the women on Vogue are either noteworthy for being models, actresses with movies to promote or buzzworthy and none of those apply to Kate.
