I just hope it lives up to everyone's expectations. Who does everyone WANT to be the guest editor? I'm not too thrilled about the Laetitia Casta rumor at all... I really wish it would be Tom Ford or even M/M Paris because the last time a guy guest-edited was Galliano, no? Imagine if she let Bruce Weber guest-edit... All the collages would be so cool. Haha, now my brain is going crazy picturing different people's editions.

The Vogue Germany issue with Bruce was not as good as i hoped. I left it on the shelf...

Why not Tom Ford? Maybe he is too close to Carine, not? She dedicated an issue for I&V but not for Testino.

It's also possible he got something work with the February issue. He will be the big surprise so reserve the fireworks.
Apart from the joke i can imagine when he could restart designing clothes for women he get the Dec/Jan issue. But this is only my conjecture.

I can't WAIT to see Daria's Moroccan VP edit. Hopefully it's for a cover as well! Her covers for the magazine have all been stunning, except, of course, for her August cover, which I ABHORRED and found to be very unflattering.

Usually Carine adopts a newer model and gives her a cover once a year. In 2007 there were Lara Stone and Catherine McNeil, in 2008 there was Anna Selezneva, and in 2009 there was Iris Strubegger. I wonder who she will embrace for 2010?

Alistair Guy has shot something in British Vogue's January issue. His site was updated with a link to the page the work will feature on once it's published, and for now it simply it says "Coming soon in next issue: January 2010".

What worries me about this is he's the photographer who it was said had shot Alex Curran for US Vogue..
