I hope it's not Kate for UK Elle. I can't imagine it is, I think she'd always go with Vogue over Elle. I'm right in thinking she hasn't had any appearance in Elle since doing the Stella McCartney for H&M spread years ago...right?

Agree that Kate isn't Elle girl, she has only 12 covers of international Elle editions (her last UK Elle cover was February 1997). But who knows...
The news about her Bazaar cover was very surprising to me.

I know she was featured in the Stella/H&M shoot inside an issue, where she wasn't on the cover, and I'm pretty sure she hasn't surfaced in UK Elle at all since then.

Maybe Gisele, although this is taking it down the model route... which, I'm not sure is where Elle will take us. After all she does say A-List Icon, which to me would mean it's an actress/celeb, and not a model.

Tina Fey for Vogue and Kate Moss for Bazaar are unexpected choices and I just love them. Let's see what both magazines do with them. March Vogue being the Power Issue, Tina is perfect for it and her last year's Bazaar cover and ed weren't bad. And Kate Moss can do wonders for Bazaar!

I don't think Janet would be considered one of the biggest, when they've had Madonna on the cover? It's curious. UK Elle consistently lands big stars for its covers, so it has to be some very big, perhaps someone we hardly see on covers.

It also throws me that she chooses to describe her as "cute".

Sex & The City 2 is out in May... and I think SJP's only had one UK Elle cover before. Not sure she'd be considered one of the biggest however.

She's wearing Burberry, right? I always get her appeal, she photographs so well.. usually with the help of technology.
