This whole Vogue Paris situation has me really depressed... I can't believe Carine is actually leaving. I wonder who will be on her first issue?

Just can't believe that Kirsten Stewart and her awful mug will be on the cover of February US Vogue. It is too bad to be true!

Maybe they decided to run that old shoot they supposedly shot with her, because there's not a lot of relevant films coming out right now.
But it would've been nice to see someone like Emily Blunt, Amy Adams, Annette Benning, even Leighton Meester get the cover.

On another note, Rooney Mara for February issue of W? WTF? Who the hell is that? So many questions but the most important one to ask is what the hell is Stefano Tonchi doing to this magazine?

She's starring as Lisbeth Salander in the US version of the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Her cover makes sense because of the hype around that movie.

Rooney was also in the Nightmare on Elm remake and The Social Network, but no doubt the cover is for her role in the Dragon Tattoo.

I would love to see people who are recognized but get little exposure.

I think Tonchi's goal is to put people who are on the verge of stardom (or becoming known, at least) on his covers though. Tilda doesn't need anymore covers, she's on the verge of becoming over exposed in fashion magazines.

I am curious to see what US Vogue would do with Kirsten Stewart as a cover girl, because I can't quite imagine it at the moment. Casual or haute couture? Smiling or scowling? Glam or grunge? There's no guarantee that I'll buy the issue, but I'd like to see the outcome.

I love Rooney so im excited about her W cover, but i agree, why don't put her in November or December issue of W, of course it will sell more.
And im also excited about Kristen's cover, i love when Vogue put some new faces on the cover, but i don't really have high expectation, it's US Vogue after all, it'll come out will boring cover, small chance it'll be good. I only care about the content.
