Disagree and this is coming from someone who isn't being bias. At least Daria has been featured on the cover in the past, so it wasn't solo. Karlie continues to keep being featured in US Vogue without having yet had the chance to shine on the cover. That is injustice.

if we are talking which model deserves a solo cover than daria deserves a cover more so than almost any other models. she has appeared in millions of ed for vogue us since 2003. and her accomplishments in the hf industry is second to none.

however, i still think karlie has better chance at scoring a vogue us solo cover than almost any other models. she's america's sweet heart, who has a strong presence in the media, and more importantly anna loves her. when she gets a solo cover is just a matter of time. there's no way she will get a solo us sept cover.

im curios to know which superstar will land on the sept cover? angelina jolie? to me she is the top candidate for the prestigious cover.

I wonder how the model covers of Harper's Bazaar have been selling? Vogue might take notice and treat us to a few model covers in the near future. I just received the July 2007 issue with Natalia Vodianova on the front and it's such a rare sight to see a model on the cover by herself.

my gut is telling me Angelina Jolie, as well. i have absolutely no insider information to confirm this. just a gut feeling. but, i feel strongly that it'll be Angie.

Lana del Rey just has released her new album, i'm sure she´ll get some covers this month, maybe Us Vogue?

I can't help but feel the Lana bubble has burst somewhat. The lead single from the new album didn't chart all that well did it? I'd be surprised if she got a US Vogue cover. Perhaps something more like Nylon or Interview.

I would love to see Karlie get a US Vogue cover, it would be wonderful. Also the 10th Anniversary of the Top Models* cover has me excited, not that I think Vogue will take advantage of it, but for now one can dream (imagine if Meisel shot it again, it's been too long since he did a cover for them)

Anyone else think Gisele is a likely candidate for the July cover, what with the Brazil World Cup? Could be a possibility. We'll probably end up with Cameron Diaz or someone like that though. If we don't get models for September I'd quite enjoy an Angelina cover, I wasn't a fan of her last one so I'd like to see something spectacular with her! I do enjoy all the anticipation for future covers, even if I inevitably hype myself up only to be disappointed.

*On a side note, it just occurred to me how many of those models from the Sept 2004 cover are still very prominent in the industry - it really is fantastic to see!

I think it's entirely too much wishful thinking on our part for Karlie to get the US VOGUE September Issue! It's just the biggest issue of the year. The most important. They really want a proven seller. Or at least someone controversial.

I think at this point Vogue's September Issues sell themselves. Vogue readers recognize Karlie and she's fairly prominent in the media (for a model) I don't think the issue would underperform with her on the cover.

That said, I don't really see it happening. If they stick with actresses, I think Marion Cotillard is a possibility, she has Macbeth and Two Days, One Night out in the fall. Rosamund Pike has Gone Girl coming out, though October seems more likely for her. Shailene Woodley? She has been on a winning streak since her career started and if her covers so far this year have been selling, I can see her getting one. She has a well-received film coming out in the fall as well, White Bird in a Blizzard.
