Im from poland and have a lot of friends who work in Vogue Poland and its big secret who get the cover.

Malgosia or Anja. I can't think of anyone else.

Or Malgosia AND Anja. Plus a few newer faces. Although if it were debuting five years ago, we'd probably have got Kate Moss, who must have launched more editions of Vogue than any other model.

Maybe Malgosia won't be on the cover because she's taken to working bts. But there probably isn't another Polish girl on her level. Not even Anja.

A celebration of Polish models would be nice for Vogue Poland's debut and I'd certainly welcome someone like Anja Rubik on the cover but since it's 2018 we'll probably get another Gigi or Bella Hadid cover (even though they're currently on British Vogue).

No, OMG. There are so many Polish models. They were literally like the Duttch at some stage - everywhere! Kasia, Jac, Zuzanna, and if you're going older...Basia Milewickz.

Anyone but the Hadids...... or Joanna Krupa, lol. I hope Vogue Poland will also cover some of the other EE models who rarely ever book Euro Vogue covers. Andreea, Edita, Kurkova etc.

What strategy would that be? So weird she isn't on the cover, i flipped throught the issue and she is just inside in the beauty pages, it's not even a beauty supplement. I mean surely she could get the cover, it's Vogue Taiwan!

Fair point, but there's much, more at stake with Tomb Raider. Wouldn't surprised me if they had more of an influence than Marvel.

I think Malgosia don't get a cover of Vogue Poland first issue, She is Editor at Large so i don't think so.

Maybe Anja, but Vogue Poland it more about Polish Fashion so i think we see some Polish models on first cover.

Hahaha, may she thinks bracketing herself with the beauty content, hoping it will give her more legitimacy.

Lol, but you're right, it's only Vogue Taiwan. How hard can it be to book them?

hahaha glad i'm not the only one who noticed Joanna Krupa's prevalence on major magazines in Poland (although her current InStyle Poland cover looks stunning). Besides, that lawsuit ironically involved the Hadid patriarch himself.



Regarding Kim K and the Vogue Taiwan beauty 'cover', i think it's as simple as wanting any Vogue association possible, especially if you can pretend on your instagram that it was a cover (she did the same thing with Vogue Mexico). When it comes down to it, reality girls like Kim thrive off the validation of major fashion magazines. It's not a major scoop for Vogue Taiwan and definitely not for Kim, but it looks great in her feed and Vogue Taiwan are hardly going to turn down the free publicity.
