Why is it sad? He’s a well known public figure. Why shouldn’t he appear on covers?

I personally think it’s refreshing to see a powerful black gay man on the cover of Attitude.

Because he's a magazine editor first, not a public figure? His claim to fame isn't being powerful, black and gay. But I guess we're in the era of the star editor/photographer/designer where this sort of egotistical behaviour is not only condoned, but by the looks of it, very much encouraged. We only started seeing Anna Wintour on newspaper supplement covers decades after she took charge of Vogue. With Edward I feel it's too much, too soon.

I don’t really agree. The issue of Attitude is celebrating gay men in the fashion industry. The editor of Vogue is now a gay male, so he does actually fit the bill perfectly for the issue. It’s not like he’s putting himself on the cover of Vogue.

Can’t say I’m a huge fan in general but I see no problem in him being shot for the magazine and putting himself out there for that.

Sorry, but that sounds like celebrating straight men in Formula 1 . Although, I agree with your point that him being shot for the magazine is a non-issue. It's not like he pulled a Jason Wu who used to appear in his own campaign or something.

I would love to see a cover of Adut By Meisel!!! And also a random one but I think if Meisel shot Winnie Harlow for something it would be stunning, she’s not the best model but he brings it out of everyone!
