Saw Riseup post in Vogue UK October thread about the special issue, stating that it isn’t Meisel that has captured this special issue.

I can’t imagine that Edward would do a redo of one of Franca/Vogue Italia ideas without Meisel, especially the Black issue.

Also it’s now narrowed down to November or December.

I assume he'd do it for December then, November just doesn't seem as relevant. I'll be very disappointed if they don't give Meisel at least one editorial inside this ''special'' issue. You can't do a special issue without your most special photographer.
My only guess besides Meisel would be Mert & Marcus or eventually Nick Knight. Anyone else just doesn't sound exciting enough.

I'd be surprised if Anna doesn't feature the cast/any of the cast of Little Women on the cover. 3 of them already graced her covers, Meryl, Emma, and Saorsie.

It comes out December 25. A fantasy story can be created for december. Ticks all Anna's requirements tbh

Wouldn't be surprised if its Meryl by Leibovitz.

I still think Emma Watson and an eco themed cover could be very Vogue US. ALTHOUGH Emma might want to be seen as fun and do InStyle with Laura Brown.

Unpopular opinion, i miss the commercial photographs of Testino. No photographer has filled such gap in the market yet. Everyone wants to be Avedon these days.

Even Inez & Vinoodh can't fill the void. I loathed Testino's imagery back then, but won't deny that it was a league of its own...and I kinda miss it.

No other photographer can capture a smiling celebrity and make it work.

I would be suprised if Olivia Colman gets US Vogue. I know she's talented and portraying Queen Elizabeth on Netflix, but Anna has been ignoring names such as the marvelous Viola Davis and Emilia Clarke (this one a star from the most popular TV series in years) for a long time. It just doesn't make sense.

By the way, HALSEY will be on the October cover of Cosmopolitan. She's wearing pink (or purple) glittered pajamas in an outdoor shot. There's a headline that reads like ""How to Tell If You're Dating a Serial Killer - or if they're just a Gemini"

Would LOVE for Olivia to cover American Vogue. If not American, then at least the British one!?! It's a bit of a stretch, but one can hope. It'll be the first time I'll start watching The Crown. I'd even take that cover over the supposed Black issue, which I'm sorry, is actually terribly out of touch in 2019. Black models/celebs are not a niche trend which can be pocketed like that, but if Edward does run such an issue, he's basically saying that.

Also, Olivia has shot a Vogue I heard. I assume it'll be US Vogue rather than UK, but I guess you never know.

I believe the Barbie issue was a recreation of the Black issue with dolls, and it came out a year after the original as a celebration of it... I still have it in a box under my bed.

Tremendous news about Olivia!! Hope it's for December, unveiled mid-Nov. She's had a banner year so far and getting American Vogue would just sort of be like the cherry on top.

Richard Madden got the best GQ cover. Nicole's wouldn't even appeal to women, surprise they thought it would be fine for men. And then there's Greta...
