I’m sure Dua Lipa is going to be the Vogue US April cover, after that high production & stylised video she did with Vogue for their YouTube and the fact they mentioned how “here at Vogue, we can stop listening to her latest hit...”

Plus with her new Album being released soon it would make sense for them to snag her for the cover. They might even release one of the Music videos like they did with Ariana last July.

I’m wonder if Hugo Comte will get the cover since he’s done all the promotional photos for the album. Would be an interesting combination of Comte & US Vogue?
 
I sincerely hope they will pull a Celine Dion and keep Dua Lipa in those Youtube videos. But then with Billie's March cover I guess no one's off the table anymore...

How about Gaga? Her album's coming out April 10th, it's a ''big'' comeback. I assume we should expect her on some covers in the upcoming months. I'd love to see her on the April cover shot by Inez & Vinoodh! Would definitely enjoy her more than Dua Lipa.
 
Dear Farneti, don't dare to use VI for a coronavirus issue. Remember, Vogue Italia IS a fashion magazine, not Nat Geo.

I'm the opposite. Gaga is beyond tired at this point. Dua is a much more fresh choice for a cover. I love her recent photos by Hugo Comte!
 
If I were Gaga, I’d book all US magazines in the months leading to my album release. If Stupid Love were any indication, she’s gonna need all the promotion she can get.

I see a Dua Lipa cover looming. Its inevitable at this point.

Franca and Meisel's cover story with Rianne ten Haken from November 2009 would work so well as a coronavirus-themed editorial. Just proves how timeless and legendary their work is.
But there's simply no way Farneti (or literally anyone else in fashion) is bold enough to do something like that now. It wasn't well received back then and people are even worse crybabies today, it would be a major scandal! Can't risk that after the lame illustrated gimmick.
It's not like he's capable of doing something as creative and beautiful anyway.

Truth! Can't believe how much praise she got, even comparing it to legendary Born This Way and Judas. Don't get me wrong, it's a cute pop song but a track like that belongs in the middle of an album not as a comeback single. The visuals are quite questionable too...
The song is commercial so I expect her to be as well, she was like everywhere when Joanne came out.
 
I believe she brought in good numbers for all her Bazaa covers, and with Gan at Elle that won't be hard. Plus she can probably get V if she asks for it, but then there's still Vogue who always trends, Marie Claire W, Vanity Fair, and the despicable Interview. 10 Years ago I'd have said certainly, it is possible for her to book all those covers in one month, but not now.

Yes! Actually that Rianne story was inspired by the swine flu. And Meisel made a joke in the first page of "Meiselpic". Funny how media praises Farneti for the non photoshoot issue or the Venice one, but back then, with the oil spill editorial or the domestic violence cover Franca was criticized by the press. Maybe they don't know how a fashion magazine works. It's pure BS.
 
The Bond film has been moved back. Hope none of the monthlies have shot any of the cast for a cover...
 
I'd heard Lea was on a US cover, though not sure which.

Not sure if she still will be now, it couldn't just be easily swapped around, it'd need a total reshoot to be on a cover relevant for November.

I don't think any covers are getting cancelled to be honest, it's too late at this point. The studio can hope for double press in the fall by booking magazines their cast didn't book this spring.
 
I hope US Vogue April cover model is actually a SUPERSTAR and not some newbie. I want star power!!!! And I want f***ing fashion!

bring on the “IT” multi girl model cover

or just give me Beyoncé or Rihanna on the cover again.
