Cover Rumor Thread

Lol, she sounds like a rabid Little Monster who got stunted during the Fame Monster era.

More like a fanatic employee hellbent to keep her job. That's the category.

Just to be clear, nowhere was it explicitly mentioned that the Vogue shoot with Kylie is for UK Vogue right? It could very well be for Vogue Australia right? Or any other Vogue for that matter.

You're absolutely right! The interviewer just then went on to mention British Vogue with regards to diversity. The shoot could very well have been for Vogue Australia (or even Vogue Spain and Vogue Germany, who've both had Kylie on their covers previously).

Armie Hammer is on GQ. Netflix did well, Lily on Bazaar, Armie on GQ! All we need is The glorious Kristen Scott Thomas to turn you somewhere.

Maybe Red? So keen to see what she'll do with Mrs Danvers, one of my favourite and oh-so-complex characters.

KST is the only reason to see the film, so she’d better get something. Would die if she got British Vogue, but obviously that will not happen since there’s no justice in the world.

Kind of OT, but I can’t believe Beyoncé didn’t get a vogue cover until 2009....Kate Bosworth got a vogue cover before Beyoncé...that’s just mind blowing it to me .

Anyway, exited to see another UK vogue cover.
Yeah singers and musicians were severely underrepresented in US Vogue in favor of actresses until last decade.

What about Armie? Who doesn't like a bloke who is into whips and chains.

Kristen may well get the Times' Style too.

The man is like twice the size of a regular human being. Ditch the whips and punish me with your bare hands, forget the chains and restrain me with your brute strength, daddy.

*ahem*

In all seriousness, I like him well enough in the right role, but he’s mostly pretty forgettable.

According the Daily Mail, Irina Shayk took part in a shoot for Vogue Germany on location at Lake Camo, and I'm pretty sure it's Luigi & Iango on set (as seen from the photos, here).

Mabel has a GQ cover. Shot on some phone it looks like as a paid partnership. Considering it’s shot on a phone it’s not a bad cover, though unless you’d told me it was her I would never have recognised her.

I hope we'll soon see Mabel on a lot of covers! The GQ one sounds like a bore though.

You have to remember Kate Bosworth was a massive style star back then. She hardly made any films but were constantly photographed wearing a lot of emerging designers and blue-chip luxury brands.

I think in Beyonce's case it may have been because of House of Dereon. Back then the HF industry regarded celebrity fashion/beauty lines as 'low brow', it's a miracle she even appeared on Vogue at the time. Even Beyonce's personal style wasn't (isn't) anything to write home about. It's her popularity that get's her these covers.

Instead of musical chairs, it's like musical covers for the Nov and Dec issues of UK Vogue - three stars are in the mix (Beyoncé, Gaga and Kylie) but only two places are available - so who won't get the cover?

Mabel is the third UK GQ cover. Shot on a mobile phone as part of some deal?!

Thyeve just announced THE WITCHES for an end of October release. Could Anne Hathaway get US Vogue?

I can’t help but feel like 2020 has no covers left for those old favourites. I imagine Anna is savvy enough to know that she can’t do a few diverse covers then just slip back into old habits. I genuinely think we’ll see the year out with relatively surprising cover stars.

After seeing Serena’s British Vogue cover, I’m now praying Beyoncé is December. And it better be a slam dunk. I’m so disappointed in Edward.
