I'm more curious about the change in format with regards to British Vogue's upcoming February issue, as opposed to the actual cover star. @[B]tigerrouge[/B] informed us a while back that a format change would be apparent with the February issue... and I'm hoping it's not for the worst.

I can't recall where I saw that, but it was on some UK Conde Nast page giving out specs for advertisers.

If there's going to be a decrease in size, I suppose introducing it with the February issue gets it out of the way, because debuting a scaled-down March issue is nothing to boast about, although any change would probably be spun as a deliberate initiative designed to save the earth, rather than Conde Nast finding yet more ways to save money.

In an ideal world, I'd like to see no change in size whatsoever, but the worst outcome would be a change to that god-awful square size that American magazines opted for, back when they were trying to rebrand themselves as 'luxury consumer products'. I think we've passed that point.

My first thought about British Vogue's change in format was also the god-awful square size which I am no fan of either. I'm almost certain Vogue Australia adopted the square-shaped format a few years back. Fingers crossed our worst fears aren't confirmed within the next week or so.

I think Kate will let Lila work with Meisel. It's every model goal. Same Cindy/Kaia situation. He stopped with the mother long time ago, but now her daughter is one of his recurrent models in editorials and campaigns.

Lets see it that way: Kaia is prettier than the Jenner/Bieber girls so her nepo sitation gives her a free pass to work with Meisel (same as the Hadid sisters). In the other hand, Kendull and Hailey are prettier than Lila. I’d rather see Hailey/Kendull work with Meisel than Lila… and I’m saying a lot.

I don't think it's about beauty, but rather the mothers. Kaia, Hadids and Lila all have model mothers, two of which have personally worked with Meisel over the years and I think that's what sets these girls apart from other nepotism models. You won't see legendary models like Naomi Campbell mentoring Kendall Jenner or Hailey. All they have is their family wealth and social media following. But the models' daughters have years of friendship and connections their mothers made in the industry over the years to help boost their fashion careers and I guess that still counts for something.
