Cover Rumor Thread

I’m not mad at the choice of cover subjects, but Tyler Mitchell again? There are so many talented Black photographers, why couldn’t they get someone like Luis Alberto Rodriguez on board for example?
I was so mad when I learn that was him AGAIN..

Addison Rae is on the February cover of Rolling Stone by Inez & Vinoodh and she looks pretty but the pic is kinda underwhelming however I'm surprised she booked that?!

Love Addison, her music is good but Rolling Stone already! Even with her previous TikTok stardom I don't get how she booked it.

Rolling Stone is even less relevant than Vogue or Time in 2025, so not sure why anyone would be surprised by who gets a cover.

Excited to see beyonce back on US Vogue but what annoys me is the fact that her team need to be controlling every aspect of the creative direction , I'm pretty sure they chose Tyler Mitchell AGAIN.. be innovative , would love to see Beyonce captured by Meisel or Mert & Marcus , I want to see the same magic from her 1st US Vogue cover by Testino that was quite glorious

Gosh that first cover she did with Testino really was beautiful.

I liked her September covers with Tyler to be honest; looking back on them now and I think they’re quite beautiful. The thought of her and Blue Ivy appearing together doesn’t particularly excite me though.

Why would anyone be excited??? To see her I suppose again witout interview, with Blue that I feel so sorry watching dancing so uncordinated and so untalented. Did you all saw Shiloh Jolie dancing? Now that’s a talent.

^ Blue Ivy is like 12 years old. I don’t care for children of the cover of Vogue but I’m not going to hold that against the 12 year old, it’s Anna or Beyoncé that would potentially warrant criticism for that decision. Why be mean about a child?

Exactly, why shove your kid to criticism from the whole world.

I wouldn't mind a Beyonce cover is she surrendered control over her image and actually participated in an interview like everyone else does.

Blue Ivy, the star that you are! Beyonce better announce that postponed 14/01/25 thing with the new cover, whatever it was. Tyler Mitchell can be good on occassion, but I never liked his cover contributions. Carlijn Jacobs shot the Renaissance visuals, she would've been a more interesting choice of photographer for this but it makes sense that they would go with Mitchell during black history month.

I do wonder if Jay will appear for a classic family portrait that usually follows a story like this lol

Vanity Fair France for Feb 25 has no need of reprinting the current US version's cover story as their own (as Spanish VF has done):
