I checked both media kits. Both were reduced to 9 issues per year, so their summer issues include june/july/august. The theme for september Elle will be their 40th anniversary

Not that surprised that they finally axed their August issue.. it has been awfully thin in the past few years, I guess Feb issue is next on the chopping block..

When it comes to American fashion magazines, these combined month issues don't feel like they offer anything - they're more like placeholders put out into the world, going through the motions of being a magazine, so that people in general don't start forgetting the brand exists because they haven't 'seen it around'.

At least the combined month issues of Vanity Fair seem to have a few more articles than you'd get in a one-month issue, even if the advertising seems sparse.

Murillo is such a starf*cker but in the least aspirational way, focused on the D-list. The taste level just isn't there. You get a big-name photographer to do a story for a September issue, and you cast.... Delilah Belle?

This image feels like a watered down Klein/Posnick collab from the heyday of Us Vogue. It lacks something. I feel that they need to push the concept even further but they’re probably afraid of the social media’s keyboard warrior opinions..
