yeah...
there's a touch of marni, dries, mina perhonen, cdg...
all my faves...

i don't think you can see but the edges of the muslin are all raw...(cdg)
the gathers are marni, the wrap is dries, and the length and layers are mina perhonen......
i fully admit it all...!!!...

*helena-the fabric reminds me a lot of my marni skirt as well...
it makes sense..both have a 1950's print...and similar colours...
i think it's the reason i bought the skirt really...
i have had the dress for several years...i made the top two years ago...
but it took me this long to figure out what to do with the skirt...
...

i'm putting the ribbon around the hips and it will tie ont he side and hang down the length of the skirt...
and it is nicely warm with the double layers and wrapping, which is good for the cold season...

Did you customize those mens pants you bought aeons ago Softie ? I haven't kept up with this thread..
I so which I was more handy with a sewing machine..
The only slightly customizing I've done lately is to take up the sleeves of my cropped jacket, make it resemble the doo.ri jacket (fw05) more. Haven't taken any pictures of the customized version tho' ..too lazy too.

i don't remember any pants i was going to customise..
the only men's pants i've bought recently are some helmut langs from the big blow out sample sale...but they just need to be hemmed...*which i have yet to do...

i think it was helena who was going to have some of johnny's trousers tailored to fit her...and i believe she did, but she hasn't posted pics that i know of...
i would like to see those actually...

i did coincidently just do some 'stencilling' on some cargo pants...
i 'libertined' them....

will post a pic when i can...
