ShuggaStiletto said:Thanks for that tip bonchic...I always have trouble breathing when I do any kind of cardio as well.
Question that I thought I'd put in here, so people who are more experienced in working out can answer for me:
If you work out in the morning is it more beneficial to eat breakfast before or after you work out?
I've heard that you will burn more if you don't eat before (like if you haven't eaten since the night before), but then if I went home and had breakfast wouldn't that completely reverse all the exercise I just put in??
I would suggest eating breakfast afterwards....personally..I would throw up if I ate then worked out
It won't completely reverse your workout eating afterwards if you choose a good breakfast. Watch out for things with a lot of sugar because it seems all yummy breakfast food is filled with sugar. I would say yogurt (i get the kind that is low in sugar) or fruit would be a good post workout breakfast. You may want to look into different sources of protein as well.

Of course water doesn't count as food

Still, it was a good day; my time was 49:30 - i was just happy to break 50 mins, given the crowds (30,000!) and of course, the heat.
Congrats!!!
). So that's why it's the same thing if you eat before or after. But it's better to eat before (about 2 hours before so that your food will be digested, ergo your body will go straight to your fat deposit for energy) because you give extra energy to your body. As you said you can run for 60' because you had tons of sugar during the day, so if you eat before you will have more energy.
