I cleaned my room
And I think that counts as excercise because my room is messsyy.

Why am I too shy to go to gym? I wan't to start pilates.

cross trainer, 20mins. level 13... nearly died!!
treadmill, 20mins. level 10.5
weights program.

Today:

30mins yoga + 200 crunches + 50 of the bicycle move (for abs) + 50 leg lifts (25 each side)

Today I did the elliptical for 45, biked for 30, swam for 15 and had a good stretch & steam after. Very relaxing!

Got to ask some of the runners: I have been running on the treadmill a lot lately. About an hour a day. Last week, I sort of injured my knee because at the end of my session I sprint (apparently a bad idea I have found out on a treadmill) and I ended up with a tight, uncomfortable feeling knee. Nothing awful but I just didn't want to worsen it so I stopped running and used the elliptical for a while. It didn't worsen it but it didn't help either. So I rested the knee for a week even though all the trainers at the gym said the elliptical would be fine. So yesterday I went back and ran for an hour and it is stiff again. I wouldnt use the word painful so uncomfortable will have to suffice. Maybe it is pain but I have high tolerance so I dont know. Any advice as to what to do? Should I rest it longer than a week or maybe see someone. The stiffness is right inside the knee.

this makes me want to start pilates daily again but i dont have the willpower or energy at the moment :(

I used to do yoga and pilates all the time but then I stopped and focused more on cardio...so gaining stamina by way of resistance is really hard for me but I am trying !!
I have started back with Pilates and yoga slowly..I do 45 min of resistance bands+pilates 3 times a week. I do 10 min of yoga stretches(basic:mountains, downward/upward dog, warrior, pigeon poses) every morning before shower.

Today I have not been doing anything..I have been getting plenty of rest and SLEEP which is a big part of well being. I eating well today too. I will take my dog for an after dinner walk after diner..about 35 min.

Everyone keep up the great work..we are such great motivation for each other, no!:flower:

A question for those who do yoga: What are the benefits?

As in...yoga alone won't be something to do for weight loss is it? I'd probably have to pair it with cardio still right? ..and same thing with pilates.

MY DAYS EXERCISE: Unwrap cheeseburger, bring to mouth, chew....unwrap second cheese burger... PHEW! Im nackered!
