5 miles on the elliptical
15 miles on bike while reading Perv - A Love Story by Jerry Stahl, a great book makes a huge difference! on friday i was reading a different & really boring book...
 
^^You shouldnt read while u are on the bike or elliptical, I told u this once.
 
I did a 30 minute kickboxing workout....I miss my treadmill SO much! I hate jogging outdoors so I now do cardio DVDs.

Btw, didn't there used to be a thread on weight loss? Is it not allowed now? I just need some advice for meals/snacks.....

no worries Filipe, its a full seated bike so its not like i will fall off. i still did 15 miles with no problems ^_^ i want to read this summer so i might as well be active while reading versus just sitting at home. if you think it might bother other people at the gym, i specifically go on off peak hours...there is no one to bother! :lol:
 
^^haha, lol the problem is not if you fall off, the problem is your eyes.
 
oh lol i think they will be okay. im not moving around that much on my upper body, just lower ;)
 
OK dont move too much ur head while reading and biking, bt on the elliptical never!
 
Today

  • Gym:
- 10 min - elliptical
- 1:00 h - weight training
- 15 min - ellypical to finish
 
Yesterday:
45 minutes on the treadmill
30 minutes of strength training
30 minutes of ab workout video

Today:
20 minutes on bike
10 on epplitical
100 weighted crunches
 
NEED HELP
after running, I really feel the need to eat eat eat. I just get soo hungry, even if the run was only for 30-or-so minutes. I try to fill up on water but it doesn't help.
Anyone else have this issue ? What kinds of snacks do you eat after working out that wont defeat the whole purpose of running ? (I'm a vegetarian)
 
^^Well, that is strange b/c the water should make that ur stomach doesnt "asks you for food"

You have to eat very well, before and after the traning.
Being a Vegetarian doenst help very much, bt there´s others things that you can eat.
Such as bread with honey after the training, fruits like bananas, grapes ect. you can find also in the stores mineral tablets.

I would to know more about ur work out and what times of the day you usually do it.

Is more dedicated to the girls, is a woman showing how to do a 5 min of stretch correctly. She explains also for the girls who have some hips problems after doing elliptcal, I hope you enjoy it.

I have been exercising..just not posting!

This week:

Monday: Biked several blocks to a track. Ran one mile and then 100 yard sprints alternating with 100 yard jogs for one lap. Biked home

Tuesday: 1 hour Yoga dvd

Wednesday: Ran about a mile to a beach and then ran barefoot one lap around the beach/sand area. Its so much harder than running on the trails!! Ran home
