Daisy Lowe

I'll put this lightly: her breasts are not pleasing.................
I just don't get the appeal beyond network hype. Her look and value just seems worthwhile on a very minimal entertainment scale. Common face and her personal style seems exclusive to an English scope alone. I just don't see much marketability here.

Whats wrong with her breasts? :S
She's done catwalk already so there must be some marketability in her.

her smile is so charming. girlish and lighthearted.

For the breast issue let's compare to someone who also has large breasts, like Lara Stone. Lara has a notoriously large chest for a model, larger than Daisy's but they're aesthetically pleasing for photographs. A nice shape with fullness (note: not a fan of her myself for the record) whereas Daisy's breasts droop and have that weighted down look to them which isn't particularly pleasing. Breasts are just tricky for photos the larger they are due to the different types.
Also, she's largely done catwalk for English designers. (not sure if she's done anything outside of English connection at all honestly) London designers are quick to use people who aren't models for their runways. Example: She did PPQ for instance. A season or 2 ago PPQ used another English socialite named Peaches for their show as well. Peaches is far from model material. Designers will use socialities, celebutantes, actors, musicians, and friends from time to time, English designers are just more relaxed about it.
That would be like Americans using Lindsay Lohan on a runway and claiming she's a model. Even Paris Hilton and Avril Lavigne were signed to modeling agencies for the pure sake of someone needing to manage their photo ops.

I agree that her connections have certainly given her a leg-up in the fashion world, but I do think her work stands up fairly well in its own right. She's scored some decent campaigns - Agent Provocateur, Miss Selfridge, Hari, Dr Martens, Karen Millen and Converse among others, which she wouldn't have got had she not been a reasonable model. Peaches Geldof, to use your example, isn't in the same position, and that's because she lacks the model attributes that Daisy does possess - a photogenic face, good height and a nice body, so to say Daisy is entirely without merit and reliant purely on her connections would probably be unfair. And while it is slightly annoying that she's going places in the fashion world based just as much on her celebrity status and parents as her actual modelling talent (imo it's unlikely she'll be challenging Kate, Natalia, Daria, Lily etc as a truly credible high fashion model), at least she doesn't come across as bratty as Peaches, and she's not exactly ugly anyway. I don't agree that her breasts are unattractive - she's healthy and it's good to see someone who eats succeeding in the fashion world for once. Besides, all breasts are great and they come in all shapes and sizes and should be celebrated accordingly!

Speaking of "probably unfair" I like how you judge a woman's eating habits by the size of her breasts.
I'm all about celebrating womahood in all it's naked splendor but if i have to look at it in a magazine I would prefer if they used, in a sense, the choice cuts of the beef. No matter the size.

You make a fair point that eating habits don't necessarily correlate to breast size, but it's obvious that some models in the industry clearly aren't eating enough and one of the ways this undernourishment manifests itself is in the lack of fat everwhere, including on their chests. Using imperfect but still attractive models like Daisy at least goes some way to redress the balance. And as no pair of boobs is perfect, why push an image of relentless perfection at all times when it really isn't the case for most people? I understand that high fashion is an aesthetic art and thus should aspire to the highest standards but I don't think high fashion is really Daisy's appeal or market anyway. She's not taking jobs from the likes of Gisele; she seems to get more of the brands that your average teenage can relate to, like Converse and Miss Selfridge, and for that, her 'imperfect' breasts aren't as much of a flaw as they would be say, a Victoria's Secret model. Suffice to say Agent Provocateur didn't have a problem with her body.

Anyway, we probably shouldn't get into a weight debate here.

i keep returning to her nude shots. they are just so stunning. her best shots yet. :p

I saw a picture of her in the lastest issue of Glamour Spain, she was wearing a fun t-shirt and a black burberry trench, and i don't think i saw it in here

i like daisy i watched her in the class of 2008 and i just thought she was so cool, her and will were the cutest couple and i think out of all the socialite models or whatever you wanna call em' she could be huge and more than someones daughter or a party girl but an actual successful model

Does anyone know where I can watch "Class of 2008" with Daisy and the kids from Blondelle???

I really really want to see it!
hey if you haven't already found it you can go on google type in class of 2008 and it should be the bbc switch class of 2008 home link and it should take you right to the show

I absolutely love love Daisy. There is just something about her and I'm always loving what she is wearing. My boyfriend has gone as far as asking if I'm into girls, because of how beautiful I think she is. I watched all of Class of 2008, on BBC Switch and I need more, but I can't find the rest of it anywhere. Eh.

^ Beautiful! If I were any less of a person, I'd hate them both.

Okay, I hate them both.

Another lady who opted for a full-length gown was Daisy Lowe who arrived on the arm of the recipient of the Maverick of the Year award and current boyfriend, Mark Ronson. Daisy wore a gorgeous deep green, slashed gown which, judging from her man's adoring gaze, seems to have gone down a treat. Just don't be expecting an engagement announcement from these two anytime soon though - when asked if he'd soon be hearing the sound of wedding bells, Mark reportedly retorted "why, am I supposed to be DJing at a wedding?". That's us told!

(Ridiculous question to ask...)

of course it was a ridiculous question to ask because she going to marry will!
