No, they have nothing to do with each other, I think it's mostly due to him

in pearl's book it goes into it a bit. daisy met who she thought was her real dad but was disappointed cause she knew it wasn't him, pearl told her it was gavin (her godfather) and they eventually managed to get him to do a dna test but he wouldn't have any contact with pearl and daisy had to really hunt him down i think. it was around the time gavin & gwen married so i think she got him to cut ties with pearl cause of her past. pearl's books a really good read! its called all that glitters.

I have to agree the book is a real insight into addiction and I find Pearl Lowes life so interesting. Daisy is also fast becoming a real style icon in her own right, love her use of mixing styles and trends and not following what the fashion pack are doing.
