WHEN the forces of British fashion come together on a grey Monday, you can be assured that something major is afoot.
Earlier this morning, on the roof of Vogue House, Marks & Spencer's Sir Stuart Rose, Nicole Farhi, Burberry's Christopher Bailey, Matthew Williamson, Luella Bartley, Christopher Kane, Yasmin Le Bon, Daisy Lowe, Pixie Geldof and Jourdan Dunn joined Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman to back Vogue's London leg of Fashion's Night Out.
Alongside the designers returning to this year's London Fashion Week - including Christopher Bailey for Burberry and Matthew Williamson - September Vogue star Pixie Geldof showed off her long blonde locks for the first time and pregnant supermodel Jourdan Dunn sported a still tiny baby bump, despite being almost seven months pregnant.
The ominous weather constantly threatened that the outdoor picture, taken by Vogue creative director Robin Derrick, might be moved inside at any time - but in the end the illustrious gathering braved the elements (and negotiated the perils of the rooftop), to pledge their support to the cause.
