Daniel Roseberry - Designer, Creative Director of Schiaparelli

I think you can tell by looking at these e-commerce pictures alone that Roseberry has a really great eye for cut and proportion - Imagine him working for a house with an identity that’s less tricky to modernize than Schiaparelli identity such as Balenciaga, Saint Laurent or even Givenchy and I bet it would lead to even better results!

One thing is for sure - Roseberry's next position after Schiaparelli will be a step up. He‘s really proven himself there.

At this point it is better for him to establish schiaparelli and make it his own like karl for chanel or rousteing for balmain.

No need to move to another house i think, and if he is a real creative building a legacy by reviving a brand is much better than any amount of money offered to him.

What I really admire about Daniel Roseberry is how down to earth in his approach to the market – maybe it’s the Texan roots, that more easygoing American cultural background ( I probably shouldn’t say this lol ). Even though Schiaparelli is an ultra-niche house with sky-high price points and aesthetics that can feel quite inaccessible, Daniel somehow makes it resonate with a surprisingly broad audience. You can see how Schiaparelli now appeals to clients ranging from Western elites to the Middle East and China – pretty impressive for a more artsy couture house.

"Resonate with a broad audience" then goes on to state the top 3 markets for ultra luxury goods 😂

But i see what you mean, many people are very into his schiaparelli and it's probably the brand that will be copied by zara the most.
