this has been mentioned quite a bit already. she was ill that season and had a sinus reaction to the illness by her nose. it has nothing to do with skin problems

You don't have to love every single piece of a model's work to be a fan ... especially when its as tired and uninspired as that VP editorial. As one of Daria's biggest fans her work in the past two years has been horrible in comparison to what she put out in 2007-08, even 2010.

I'd rather her not put out work for a while than stuff like that

if 'being a fan' means to be acritical and accept everything, i think i don't even need to retire since i have never been such a fan.

apart from that, i think most of the historical followers/lovers/admirers/fan etc., meaning with that those who have followed daria for a lot of years, those can't help being disappointed with her recent editorials. and particularly this kind of celebrative issue of VP is bland and dull, a total creative void (of course it's not her fault).
in the latest 2-3 years i would save just a few campaigns, demarchelier and cass bird's works, namely what has been a bit different from the 'hands-over-head' poses and this so unsexy effort to make her look like a sexy woman. a so unnatural disaster seen her body language.

I understand. There is a big difference between being critical and being just downright bashful, however. I have been a fan of Daria for many years, and no I don't like everything she does either, you are not the only fan who knows how to look at a picture or an editorial, but I have never once wished she would just stop doing what she does. There is a reason why I like her.
