I just sort of meant that if they wanted to hire a face that the mainstream audience would like, they would be better off with some blank-faced, all-american smiley girl but instead...they went for Daria whose features are more striking then anything. If they hired her for the uniqueness of her face, why spend so much time making her look so emotionless and blank?
