I believe all of us think daria is a supermodel, but sometimes I quite worry about her status, because I think she's not as famous as kate or she's not such powerful as kate...
It's may be due to her low profile, she doesn't appear in those function like natalia or gisele,but that's why I love her, she's always the no.1

Well some people (ie. Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum etc.) don't seem to realise that. Models who aren't happy just being models make me cringe.

I think models can do commercial things and not being a Supermodels (or celebraty model). The best exemple is Angela Lindvall. She did VS and SI, but she still doing HF, Clothes/cosmetics ads, movies and editorials without being an icon. That's what I hope Daria will turn into.

i didnt mean that all the commercial models are supermodels, but that doing commercial things, included living in the spotlight, is the only way to become a supermodel, if this word has still some sense nowadays.
you never know, but i have doubts daria will do vs or si since she had the opportunity to do it in the past and said no. but you never know...

I hope she never does either of those, VS or SI, because she is too down-to-earth (even on runway, and in VS you have to smile and make these cheesy winks and UGH!) when she wipes off her makeup and takes off the couture and relaxes in her ripped jeans and boots and flannels, pull-over hoodies and a leather jacket...She is the COOLEST laid-back model. Oh how I would looove to meet her!!

It kind of bugs me that Angela isn't so much of an "icon". I think she's so unsung. But then again I would say that...

Daria does seem to be steering away from the HF a little though, which is sad.

Just found out from Fashist that Daria will not be the only model in the August issue of Vogue Paris. There is a lot of her in it, but there are other models as well.
