she knows of course.... even store long time client advisers/and store managers know when the daughter and mom shops
So those two are still together for the sake of the company, I presume...

what can i say life is like this its not black and white there is lots of grey matter in between.

the only difference if your wealthy is intellectual and modern bourgeois, if your poor its baby moma or baby daddy ghetto behavior :)

happens more often than we know mistress become second wives etc etc

Azzurra Bertelli!

I'm curious why they would give her Patrizio's last name when he isn't married to or (I assume) still with her mother. Is he a very present father?

Is Miuccia totally fine with it all? I think I'd be royally pissed off if my husband's love child was given our family name...but maybe she's more enlightened than me.

Where do we think Dario will turn up in the next couple of years?
Ugh to think even in 2 years the fashion landscape will be changing again

I don’t know, but looking at her instagram she is present at the fashion shows so I think Miuccia is fine with her…

You guys remember all the paid influencers and people from the fashion circle praising this collection for being quintessentially Versace and the best thing that happened in fashion in recent times after Alessandro Michele debut at Gucci?
Well, the collection dropped before MFW and PFW started and guess what...not even a single influencer or stylist or fashion editor got caught wearing a single item from the collection. It's extremely bad when you see a pop culture instagram page with 2mil followers doing undisclosed ads for the new bags and then no one from within the circle dares to spend a dime on the collection? Where are all the people who said the collection was subversive, sexy in an unapologetic way and an ode to Gianni?
- New bags? Nothing
- The Onitsuka tiger sneakers collab? Nothing
- The Desigual on acid silk shirts? Nothing

Talking about a success. People had the chance to prove what they were praising 6 months earlier and the result is clearly a disaster. Let's wait for the commercial response from actual buyers but the fact that the fashion pack completely rejected the collection is not a good sign.

You can argue the clothes should stand on their own, but fashion doesn’t work that way. Even great collections need the machine behind them to sell. Whether this one is great or not will continue to be a debate. Perhaps more clarity when we see Peter's vision. That said, this one had virtually no push from the brand, no celebrity placements once it hit stores, no meaningful influencer or editorial support. Out of sight, out of mind.

And realistically, most influencers and editors aren’t buying Versace at retail anyway, they’re getting it discounted or loaned. Without that ecosystem activating around the collection, it was never going to gain momentum. Dario posting his collection's editorial presence was never going to be enough.

On top of that, the pricing felt completely disconnected from the market and Versace's current positioning which is unstable.

I hate ig fashion critics 😫😩🤮🤢😷🫩
They acted like he was the new fashion god. It was clearly a disaster and extremely overpriced. And that julia roberts debacle was nuts.

I get your point and partially agree with you, but come on, for the people living in the ivory tower of fashion, 3k for a Vitale bag or 1,5k for a printed silk shirt means nothing. You publicly bashed Prada group for axing Dario off after he released "the best collection in fashion history after Gucci by Michele" and you don't want to make a statement showing Prada they did a terrible mistake by getting stuff from Vitale at full price? These people get free / discounted flight tickets, do partnerships with 5 star hotels, gets flown around the world by brands for ads, spending on Versace is nothing for most of them.
As you said, the pricing of the collection was all over the place and at the end of day the pieces are not so good when you have to pay full price for it...

I think that the thing is that the fashion pack no longer sees any point in pretending to support him. Vitale's debut was a low-budget mess: a show in a presentation slot, sh*t venue, sh*t casting, delayed video and photo releases. He gets fired a month after, then replaced by an industry darling who will probably gut Dario's attempt at a foundation.

Of course they dropped him as soon as he was fired, but he still did make the biggest impact/surprise of 2025, among so many other debuts. So I am curious to see his next venture.
