Dave Franco has scored himself a four-page feature in the latest issue of Death + Taxes Magazine. Here are some quotes from the 24-year-old actor:

On his penchant for writing: “Once a week I would meet up with the coolest teacher and we’d go over my work. All my friends were like, Soooo… once a week at lunch you meet up with Mr. Schulenberg to talk about poetry. (smiles) They all thought I was having sex with my teacher. But I really just loved to write and it was a nice outlet.”

On admiring his older brother, actor James Franco: “He’s been great. He’s definitely let me find mym own path. He doesn’t tell me what to do or what not to do.”

Dave can next be seen opposite Zac Efron in Charlie St. Cloud, out October 15.

Dave Franco is featured in a portfolio of up-and-coming Hollywood actors in the April/May 2010 issue of Wonderland Magazine (with Carey Mulligan on the cover).

The mag highlighted him as he is involved in Noah Baumbach’s new film Greenberg, in limited release now. It’s about a New Yorker who moves to Los Angeles in order to figure out his life while he housesits for his brother.

Dave, 24, is also featuring in Charlie St. Cloud later this year alongside Zac Efron and Kim Basiger.

If Dave looks familiar, he should! He’s the younger brother of James Franco. Dave also recently had a spread in Death + Taxes Magazine!
