Come on, you can't knock Lachapelle! One of the greatest image creators around.....such imagination! I think it is abit futile to compare people to their influences and pooh pooh their work because of it....Guy Bourdin had his influences as well.

I will agree he isn't best suited to fashion, but I will always remember him for taking fashion imagery down a less serious route for a while.

....i'm surprised no one has mentioned my favourite editorial of his (Italian Vogue) where the plane had crashed into houses in the background.......unbelievable amount of production!!!! Very rarely will you ever see so much effort go into a fashion shoot!
