Dazed & Confused March 2011 : Arizona Muse

idk, but I feel the first cover is better
is that Dsquared2 by Arizona

I would love to be able to see what the hype is all about, I keep watching, but nothing special has materialised for me, in terms of this model - or these covers.

I do actually get her, from the very beginning actually (first page of her thread back then, when all she was doing was a few commercial pages) but hype is always something hard to handle for me. As Mullet said somewhere on this thread, it's sometimes tough when suddenly a model is everywhere even when you really like her... And I don't like such issues dedicated to one model only (didn't get the All-Poly Muse issue a few times ago as well) plus this easy title Birth of a Muse sounds more like the title of a post on TheImagist than a cover headline of Dazed. And if they really want to dedicate one whole magazine to a model, please give it to a newbie who needs tearsheets for her US work permit... :lol:

Haters, Anna Wintour had spoken. Deal with it. :whistle: Anyways, I LOVE the one where she's wearing a tux. The others are okay.

looking forward to this issue, no matter of the magazine, Arizona always delivers.
really excited for the Mark Segal editorial.^_^

Anna Wintour indeed has spoken, but somehow I never percieved Dazed to be the kind of magazine to jump on the 'hyped-up' model bandwagon and declare Arizona the next muse like everyone else has been doing the last couple of months.

I adore her and really hope her look takes off, but the last time a model has had this much hype- including her own magazine issue- it was Agyness. And we all know how that went... :innocent:

Love the cover with the pink. :woot:

But Arizona is beautiful... Agyness...:innocent::lol:

I agree, it's a bit too much, but I like her so i will take it as it comes, it's been years since a bought a Dazed. Might buy the pink one if the contents are nice.

I don't believe she's just hype.

She is truly breathtakingly beautiful and i could look at her all day. She is, indeed, a muse.

This is no one trick pony and I think she's here for a LONG time.

Same here... I'd like to like her, but honestly, in editorials she as always the same expression, it's so boring... she is beautiful, but her face is a bit "frozen"...

Completely agree, she is stunning in person as well! She has that effect seeing, her in person, very breathtaking. I love all the covers!

Had a quick flick through the issue earlier - there were plenty of each cover available, the cover shots appear to be taken from four different editorials inside, which seem to run to 54 pgs in total, the rest of the issue covers general things, so she's really only monopolising the fashion editorial section, it's not total overkill.

I don't mind the buzz since I really love her look and what she represents...
I find it a bit ackward to have so much buzz but it still makes sense to me... the fact that everyone is after her is just the corollary of what happened in the modeling world with the crazy hunt/ obsession for newbies everytime that had so many bad consequences for everyone involved... With such a noise, I think people will at least be able to notice something's happening...

And ironically (and good) enough it won't be the easiest task for scouts when they will be asked to scout Arizona clones since it's rather hard to point out anything specific in her look... ^_^ she just stands out by herlself...

^ you make a good point, she might not look like lara or natasha, but i think she's unique in her own way, her print work is outstanding, she is really versatile, i can see why every major photographer wants to work with her. ^_^

i found other previews with Arizona
enjoy :blush::flower::woot:

this girl needs to tone down when it comes to eds bc too much too soon would be a double edges sword, it can make her to break her.

i hope she doesnt appear to be those models who exploded like lighting into the industry then disappearred just as fast.
