i quickly looked through the magazine in my university library (I didn't have time to scan), and the issue wasn't too interesting; apart from an interview and a few feature articles. Arizona was like the only model in the magazine apart from the ad campaigns.
I flipped through the issue today and I really like Arizona but to be honest she can not pull off an entire issue dedicated to her (yet). I think only a few models with great versatility can and this particular issue is just not interesting enough
I think I'd like Arizona a lot more if she had different hair, because every time I see her with that centre parting, to me, it seems like a mousy schoolgirl growing out a bad cut, at the stage where it resembles flappy curtains.
Perhaps it's a versatile shape, but there must be a better look for her, one of those career-defining haircuts that reveal a model truly worth watching. I'd like that.
^ her current bob is actually her 'careerdefining' haircut as you put it, she had long hair before when she first started.
and it did, make the people who matter pay attention to her. but as much as i love Arizona some of the edits bore me,
perhaps because they all exude the same languid air, though of course we have yet to see all of it. i'm rather keen on
Kacper Kaspryzk's however.
In that case, career-defining haircuts have really gone downhill, much like my enthusiasm for magazines. It must be my age, leading me to expect a Linda Evangelista moment - that amid the hype, there should be something more exciting going on than a wavy brown bob that Keira Knightley might like.
i'm sorry, but i don't get this comment. print work is how models get campaigns. or am i mistaken? i don't see how snagging print work is detrimental to a girl's career, if in the long run, it actually ends up helping them.
I think she is a pretty good print model(runway is a different story). The covers are quite nice, although I'm not sure I want to see an entire issue devoted to her.
