Hey all!
I got a notification on LivingSocial today about something called dermaplaning. The description reads, ". . . you'll receive a professional Dermaplaning treatment, which uses a dull blade to scrape the skin, removing peach fuzz, trapped oils, and dead skin, and reducing scars an uneven pigmentation on the face . . "
My acne scars and redness have been the bane of my existence for years now and I've never really known what to do. I thought about seeing a dermatologist this summer or trying something at home, but I wasn't sure what at home remedies could do the trick. I did see an ad in Shape for "ScarAway Scar Diminishing Cream" (myscaraway.com) and a testimonial said it worked on acne scars.
I did some initial research on dermaplaning and it seems like people have had good results. The deal is $65 compared to the original price of $150, but the ScarAway cream is only $20. Much cheaper.
What do you guys think? Any more information or stories regarding dermaplaning or ScarAway? Spend the big bucks, little bucks, or just see a doctor?
Thanks
