My experience:
Medicated foundation
I favour Almay's formula. It is liquid, medium coverage, a little dry, but good to layer under a sheer powder foundation. The Saliyic (huge sp.) acid really works for me.
Powder Foundation
Strange enough, not a favorite of mine. Those with full coverages are cakey and unnatural looking, natural looking ones are too sheer to cover. (I know the differences between press powder and compact foundation)
No mineral experiences
Concealer
Green looks awkward, an odd spot on the face, I can never blend it into my red spot, sorry.
The best concealer on earth has to be Kevin Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer. It is damn FULL, it covers the acne perfectly. Yet it looks natural, plus because of it's consistency, a 15ml jar lasts forever! You can pass it down to your son/daughters.
Medicated concealers are great as well, on good skin days, I layer them under sheer powder foundation, and viola!
My personal favrites.

I am going to talk about CoverFX and Natural FX
CoverFX is a compact cream foundation, very very very full, a little less than Kevin Aucoin SSE. I use it as concealer as well. I bought is in a darker shade for summer days with tan.
Natural FX: Holy Grail, it is full, yet natural looking. It looks like another layer of real skin from far (5 inches away), but within 4 inches, it looks very very heavy. I use it during special occations. Another reason why not everydya is because of its price.
There is a thread here on tFS too, just search.
I am going to try their new mineral FX.
Their blushes are pretty too, the shades matches skintones like a dream, the textures are blendable with slight shimmer.
Tools: I have their foundation brush, very decent.
Powder FX are sheer, but natural looking
Setting FX are awesome too, they are transparent with iridescents, my Holy Grail, just not the price.
Their prices are high tho.
drug store:
Revlon Color Stay with Softlex (in tubes)
I like this one a lot, natural tan matches my summer skintone perfectly. The finishes on the skin are unnoticabe.
Maybeline age rewind
Yes, you heard it right, an anti aging foundation. Because it is dedicated to mature skin, ergo it does not cake and it has that perfect skin finish to it. Medium coverage, luckily no break outs, effortable, and Medium1 is golden based, matches my olive skintone perfectly. Received many complimets as well.
