Haven't posted in yonks but just to say that the Alexander Wang stuff is already available to buy online on the Uniqlo.co.uk site.... I've ordered some stuff already...

Oh dear, the dress I ordered is not even online anymore! It was the one with the attached waistcoat....
They went up a few days ago and I guess they're sold out...I doubt they're sold out in stores though in the UK....

They went up a few days ago and I guess they're sold out...I doubt they're sold out in stores though in the UK....

that's the one i want as well...
my guess is that they will sell out first!

zara did a good copy awhile back of that dress...
but it just didn't fit me properly...

hoping to get lucky with this one!...

the vest dress did not fit me well...much to my dismay...
the small was snug across the bust and the medium was way too big...



but i did wind up getting two other dresses..
the black w/ the elastic waist and the s/s with bottom pleating...



i guess i was the only one so excited for this one!..

the store was completely empty!

just got back,

The Alexander Wang stuff was HORRID. Why? Because it was all cheap cheap cheap polyester. I KNOW there were far more fabric options to choose from, I shopped with a friend who helped Loden Dager with their Uniqlo collaboration.

The styles were cute but the fabric was just so bad.

I picked up a polo and plaid shirt for myself, cute and nice for the price.

i just checked..they ARE polyester....

FOOLED me completely...
but i don't care...
means that it will be easier to care for than silk would be...
yay!

and polyester is considered a luxury fabric in japan!

Nice polyester does exist,like the kind that Lanvin uses, but this ain't it.

Make sure you have some wrinkle releaser on hand, that fabric is very unforgiving to any slight creases or folds.

softie, you may be delighted to hear that limi has got a very similar looking dress for the coming winter season that has striking similarities to the one alexander wang has done for uniqlo... i'd be curious to know if the yohji boutique bought that dress! =)

i just steamed them both....they are fine..
completely look like silk crepe...very chic ~!
