Designers Switching Houses & Moving to New Brands

Gucci announcing new designer tomorrow allegedly and they’re NOT Italian!
The suspense for this is surprisingly as big as it was for Chanel for me !

If I had to choose between Hedi and AV, I'm going with Hedi as he's created more things I am interested in purchasing and have purchased. I am really praying it isn't AV.

Tom Ford was not Italian, and don't see the need to stick to Italians though.

Sticking to Italian CDs is imho one of the major flaw of Milan Fashion Week, I think Maier, Lee and Davis brought some fresh blood.

I'm praying that it's Hedi, because I just know that I'm going to despise whoever replaces AV.

LOL it's so clear they wanted to get Dona out but they did not want to experience the backlash from the general public with little insider fashion knowledge, who associate Versace to Donatella. Everybody knows she will be doing absolutely nothing under that role (that was purposely created for her).
Funnily enough, Donatella ended her tenure with 2 of the worst collections ever under her management: that diluted Versus / Prada genZ bait collection from SS25 and that baroque print autopilot nightmare from FW25. Selling Versace to Michael Kors was the worst decision she could have ever made.

I just cannot believe it !!!

I am going to be on Vitale's a**. I hope he proves me wrong, but this is not going to be good.
