Designers Switching Houses & Moving to New Brands

wonder where some of his ambassadors (Josh O'Connor, Greta Lee, etc.) will go. Feels weird for them to be at Dior and would be odd for them to stay with Loewe now that he's not there anymore.
I think it will be a mix and depend on the contracts. When Alessandro Michele left Valentino, Dakota Johnson stayed at Gucci and Harry Styles went to his first Valentino show.

And Jonathan Anderson could always let a few of the ambassadors go like Maria Grazia did when she first joined.

There will probably be a bit of an overlap contractually for some ambassadors for now, as Lola mentioned.
Dior is such a large scale brand with a wide audience, especially regarding beauty and reaching a certain type of woman, that I doubt he will be able to have a say on all of them.
I remember Raf's first HC and there were still previous ambassadors who weren't the vision of his type of woman. It was funny seeing the clip of Sharon Stone congratulating him backstage and she was using all these vague words and gestures, but kindly offered him to work in her beach mansion and that he could sketch anywhere he wanted to in the home lol.

That's messy 18 hour ago posting the fw25 videos from Cad Wallader and now announc a new CD? and CW still mentiones Mugler Cd on his bio update: he just delete it...

Brands don't know how to make proper things these days...

He has like zero digital footprint and his IG account itself is brand new so nothing really to discuss on him.

He’s cute.

Casey Cadwallader wasn’t my favourite and some of his stuff felt more like it was designed to create an “iconic moment” for “yaaas kween” type of crowd but with the H&M collab and the Torso directed fashion shows I feel like it brought some attention to the brand from new customers which may have directed to more fragrance sales which is what L’Oreal likely cares about. I wish the best for the new guy.

Good Lord. How many designers has Mugler had in the past 20 years? I feel like they switch designers every few years, with Casey being the only one who's managed to have some sort of impact. But, yeah, good luck to the new guy.

i'm not sad or happy that Casey is leaving. He knows what makes gen z tiktok fashion consumers gag these days, and its not very much . purely a viral moment. i felt that it was over for mugler when the h&m collab released. theres no positive aspect of that collab either even with it being slightly more "affordable". but hey, i did like a lot of the short films he released on youtube for mugler

I hope this new guy at Mugler interprets the house codes much better and is more diverse than that basic overgrown aging twink. All his work for the house can be traced back to this one look.

There’s so much more to play with. Textures, color, cuts, unconventional fabric, not just black bodycon suits.

I’ll keep an open mind to his work, it’s good he has some history with a couture house (Even if it is Dior). Given not much is known about him, let’s hope it’s a pleasant surprise.
