I like your comment of "wanting a piece of cool long gone" a lot. It's the perfect summary for the fashion industry and its players. They are all product of their time. And after their time has came and gone, they always chase after a certain allure/image/idea/vibe that no longer exists. Karl is probably the only person whom time was gentle with. Even Saint Laurent (and his legacy will outlast anyone's) didn't have it at the end.

Im just pragmatic. You know people love her at LVMH. Otherwise she would have never been appointed at Pucci. At first they wanted Guillaume Henry who chose Patou instead. But to go from Guillaume Henry to Camille Miceli, it means they really like her.
And her best friends are still in the group…So they will probably move her somewhere.
