a strange and a bit all over the place collection from DVF ... but i liked the colours, the small cape details and the blue blown up dress posted here

the over the knee boots ruined every single look they were matched with, as for the obsession with 70's era hoods

here some more strong looks of the collection, the choice of yellow was quite on point, also liked the fur stole accessories :flower:

style.com review (cant see the  amazon connection but in the messanger bags and at this on evening look with the cross shoulder medieval 'blouse') as for the choice of tartans, they seem one season late :innocent:
NEW YORK, February 8, 2004 – The peripatetic Diane von Furstenberg never stays in one place, or one decade, too long. For spring, she flirted with flappers, but her fall collection was dedicated to a less era-specific icon: the glamazon (which also happens to be the name of the newest addition to her growing beauty line).
This modern-day huntress gathers her fashion as she pleases; not for her a dull adherence to one style or another. The collection, designed as always by von Furstenberg and Nathan Jenden, drew heavily from the English hunting lodge, with its tweeds and tartans—although it’s doubtful anyone ever rode to the hounds in one of von Furstenberg’s skintight cuts, curvy jackets, or eye-dazzling color combinations. The designers called on Camelot as well, with touches of medieval battle armor: a metallic knit tunic with an attached hood, a dark-gray snakeskin leather jacket, a jangly spangled beaded tabard worn over a wool jersey top and leggings. There’s so much going on that it can be hard to follow von Furstenberg’s lead, but there’s no doubt she enjoys the sport of it all.

some backstage/front row looks, including make up details, Anna W. looking boring and Ann D. fab as always
Nicole Trufino seemed slealing attention backstage

thanks LENA. i am a DVF fana nd love that blue dress and the yellow and black short dress!!!

i was a bit iffy, i don't know if i ever like her designs...i mean they're all wearable individual pieces...but i wouldn't wear any of them. interesting. few joy think, interesting color scheme...unopinionated really.

this short blue dress & the yellow worn by anouk are adorable

i actually meant the chiffon black and yellow print one :P
but the yellow one is cute too ;)

The looks clothes are cute but what I like about those two looks is the way the colors contrast against the skin tones of Liya and Alex :P

the first set that Lena posted seems very last season to me.
Not crazy about the collection.

 I, personally, thought this collection was tragic and not reflective of Diane's talent. I usually like her stuff, but I didn't see her in any of these pieces. Not great this time, but maybe next season. (keeps fingers crossed) :flower:

  She does have a tendency to do that doesn't she? :P

This collection left me going "huh???" Didn't really make much sense to me.

I normally  DVF but I wasn't too impressed with this collection! There are a few articles of clothing I like here and there but nothing that got me really excited. :(

 Good to see an Aussie face in there

I'm also not sure about the collection. The colours are nice, but there is nothing there really to my taste.. Each to their own though. :ninja:

Thankyou for sharing, Lena :flower:
