Diesel shuts down Style Lab

Did not there used to be a dedicated ' DIESEL STYLE-LAB ' store , by the traffic lights , on the corner of Corporation St./ Upper King St. ( the big building -financial end of King St. opposite to the row of shops that included Whistles , Calvin Klein Jeans , etc ? )

There is a diesel store in leeds, that didn't or doesn't carry any stylelab

I know nowhere in Newcastle did, and i'm not sure about brother2brother in Notts and Sheffield...

the Lab-Style store manager in NY told me back in Feb "mission is accomplished", they wanted to test out the public responce to certain fashion ideas. they will now apply some of these ideas in the current Diesel line with "a notable" price change.

now, that is being smart!.. as diesel always proved to be. it's a little bit scary thinking of how big they are and how they like to interfere with the market.

I would probably relate Diesel to Audi...or Saab...the poor mans BMW .... if you follow...

Their quality certainly doesn't warrent their price..

sorry if i upset people here, but i think stylelab worked better before it had illusions of grandeur. if every fashionable clothing manufacturer decided to put on a show there would be so much rubbish. for me, diesel was always a toned-down, cheaper and less trashy version of d2, i like it but its hardly revolutionary.

it was actually a guy.. i 4got his name..he was the store mgr, he was kind enough to find me the tshirt i was searching for.. I paid $30 for a $ 160 worth tshirt.
